Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Jalok LLC ("Practs", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit our Practs pages on practs.com, buy Practs strips or contact us. Questions? Contact us.

Information we collect
Information you give us: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number (if you provide it), order details, and the messages you send through our contact page. Payment card details are handled by our payment processors; we don't store your full card number.
Information collected automatically: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages and products you view, the items you add to your cart, the website or ad that brought you to us, and similar data collected with cookies, pixels and similar technologies.
Information from partners: payment confirmations from payment processors, delivery updates from our fulfillment partner and carriers, and information about how you interacted with our ads from advertising platforms.
Health-related information
We don't ask you for health information, and you don't need to give us any to buy from us. Please don't send us medical details through our contact page; if you have a health question, talk to your doctor.
Our products are dietary supplements, such as sleep strips with melatonin. The products you look at, add to your cart or buy can say something about your interests. We use this browsing and purchase information to run our store and handle your orders, and we share it with Shopify and Meta to measure and run our ads (section 4). We don't sell it for money, and you can opt out of this sharing at any time (section 6).
Some state laws, such as Washington's My Health My Data Act and Nevada's consumer health data law, give extra protection to "consumer health data". At this time, we don't ship Practs strips to Washington State or Nevada, and we don't direct our ads for Practs strips to people in those states.
How we use your information
- To process, ship and support your orders, including refunds and replacements.
- To answer your questions and requests.
- To prevent fraud and keep our store secure.
- To send you marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- To measure and improve our website and our ads.
- To comply with the law, including tax and accounting rules and product safety reporting.
How we share your information
We share personal information only as needed with:
- Shopify, our e-commerce platform, which hosts our store, processes orders and provides store analytics. Shopify may also use information about your visit for its own services, including advertising, under Shopify's own privacy policy.
- Payment processors (such as Shopify Payments and PayPal), to process and protect your payment.
- Our fulfillment partner in the United States and shipping carriers (such as USPS), so your order can be packed and delivered.
- Our email service providers, to send order emails and, if you agreed, marketing emails.
- Advertising partners, mainly Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Our pages use the Meta Pixel, and an app connected to our store sends purchases to Meta through Meta's Conversions API. They tell Meta about your visit and your purchase: for example the pages and products you viewed (such as a sleep strip), the products you added to your cart and the order value, with technical identifiers such as your IP address, browser and cookie IDs. For a purchase, the app may also send your contact details in a scrambled (hashed) form, so Meta can match the purchase to an ad. Meta uses this information to measure our ads and choose who sees them, under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Authorities or other parties when required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
- A buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some US state laws call sharing information with advertising partners a "sale", "sharing" or "targeted advertising". You can opt out at any time (section 6).
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to run the store (for example, to keep items in your cart), to remember your preferences, and for analytics and advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the store works.
Your choices and rights
Your privacy choices. To opt out of the sale or sharing of your information and of targeted advertising, use the "Your privacy choices" link at the bottom of our pages. In the states where our opt-out page is offered, it opens that page. If it doesn't open an opt-out page where you live, write to us (topic "Privacy") and tell us you want to opt out.
Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information and of targeted advertising. Shopify applies it in the states where our opt-out page is offered, and our Practs pages don't load the Meta Pixel when they receive it.
Marketing emails. Click "unsubscribe" in any marketing email, or write to us.
Your rights. Depending on the state where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising or of the "sale" or "sharing" of your information. To use these rights, write to us through our contact page (topic "Privacy: access, correct, delete or opt out"). We'll verify your request and reply within 45 days. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer; we'll answer your appeal within 45 days, and if we deny it, you can contact the attorney general of your state. You can also use an authorized agent. We won't treat you differently for using your rights.
Children
Our products and pages are for adults. You must be 18 or older to buy from us, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and then delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Where your information is processed
Your information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where we or our service providers operate.
Changes
We may update this policy. We'll post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
